Our mission is to become Australia's pre-eminent four season destination mountain resort, providing international class facilities, based on ecologically sustainable development principles. That's a fairly broad & remarkable ambition so we need a huge variety of remarkable staff committed to helping us achieve our goal!
Part of the exciting plan for the future is the redevelopment of the resort, both on the mountain and through the creation of a village centre on the existing Perisher car park. Many years of work have already gone in to achieving our mission and in late 2006 Frank Sartor, Minister for Planning, approved the development of the Perisher Village Centre. Perisher Blue - The Company
Perisher Blue operates the largest Ski Resort in the Southern Hemisphere, located within the Kosciuszko National Park in the beautiful Snowy Mountains in Southern NSW. Jindabyne, the gateway to our resort, is approximately 450kms south west of Sydney and an easy 2 hour drive from Canberra. Perisher Blue boasts 4 ski areas, 1245 hectares of skiable terrain, 50 lifts and the capacity to lift 52,903 snow sliders per hour. The company also operates the Perisher Valley Hotel, a four and a half star boutique 'on snow' hotel, The Station Resort Hotel, budget accommodation located 5kms from Jindabyne and the Skitube underground railway that transports several hundred thousand passengers to Perisher and Blue Cow ski areas from below the snow line.
